Community building public, community and special events and programs, a monthly newsletter packed with the latest in Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond stories and science and lots of easily accessible, online content.
Annalee Atia is a co-founder of the organisation and was Development Director for the majority of her time with the organisation. She is producer and community journalist at the acclaimed Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond show and the mind and heart behind many of its unique community-building and cross-pollinating programs such as the PBB Talks and the Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond Hub. Much loved the world over and highly acclaimed, the Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond Podcast is operated by a dedicated team of volunteer producers and presenters. During almost ten years since early 2010, Each week a live-to-air radio program come to life on award-winning community radio station 99.9 BayFM, from the heart of Byron Bay, Australia on Bundjalung Country. The radio show retired during Covid, while the podcast show continues to provide a home base for much of PBB’s critical community work.
The Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond Podcast is a unique resource for families, the wider community, consumers and clinicians alike that works to deliver non-sensationalist and useful information to its wide range of audiences.
A strong source base of information is complied from: real life stories from parents, family and community members, healthcare providers, leaders, researchers and experts; the latest in evidence-based science relating to Pregnancy, Childbirth and Parenting; a powerful drawing on time-honoured traditions exploring what works for modern day living and a close-up look at new and emerging ideas in the field.
